National survey for LGBTQIA+ people with disability (Australia)
People With Disability Australia (PWDA), a national peak disability rights and advocacy organisation, has launched a survey to better understand the experiences, needs and priorities of LGBTQIA+ people living with disability.
PWDA is inviting LGBTQIA+ people with disability to share their insights and experiences across identity, healthcare, safety, services, work, ageing and more. The survey is open to LGBTQIA+ people with disability or people with disability who have a diverse sexual orientation, gender identity or expression or sex characteristics. It’s available in a number of formats, including Easy Read, Auslan and audio.
The survey is estimated to take approximately 20 minutes to complete and will close at 11:59pm AEST on Tuesday, 13 May 2025. It doesn’t need to be completed in one sitting, with the option to exit and return later if needed. You can also choose to only answer the questions that you want to and PWDA advises that your answers are anonymous and confidential.
